Minneapolis, Minnesota – Quazar is pleased to announce SET Environmental, Inc. (“SET”) has acquired West Central Environmental Consultants, Inc. (“WCEC”). Quazar served as the exclusive financial advisor to SET in the transaction, while Buikema Law served as legal counsel.

As part of SET’s strategic growth plan, it was seeking to augment its organic growth through acquisitions. In particular, SET was looking for opportunities to acquire additional environmental service companies that would expand its geographical reach and add new capabilities to the organization. To help execute on this acquisition strategy, SET retained Quazar due to Quazar’s experience, extensive network, and reputation for successfully working with privately-held businesses.

Quazar worked closely with the SET Management team to locate potential targets, negotiate, structure the transaction, and coordinate with all parties to a successful closing. SET closed on the acquisition of WCEC on March 11, 2022.
