With summer approaching and consumers spending more time than ever at their homes, spending on outdoors spaces has been increasing at incredible rates. In a recent article from Twin Cities Business, Katie Ecker spoke with Rainbow Play Systems owner Tom Giles about his company’s growth. According to Giles, Rainbow Play Systems, which builds a variety of swing sets and playsets, has seen a 200% increase in year-over-year business during the last six to eight weeks. Giles said, “Anyone that's doing any sort of home activities or home improvements ... is going to see a long-term benefit from this.” Later in the article there was similar sentiment from Lindus Construction owner, Andy Lindus, who is expecting their decking division to be up 35% this year.
